Modernizing Legacy Enterprise Systems: AI-Driven Transformation of Warehouse and Retail Platforms
Objectives:
To understand the challenges associated with legacy enterprise systems in warehouse and retail
environments, including technical debt, operational inefficiencies, scalability limitations, and
barriers to digital transformation in modern business ecosystems.
To explore contemporary modernization approaches involving artificial intelligence, cloud-
native architectures, microservices, automation platforms, and data-driven technologies that
enable the transformation of traditional warehouse and retail systems into intelligent enterprise
platforms.
To examine the design, migration, and implementation strategies required for transitioning
from monolithic applications to flexible, scalable, and resilient architectures while ensuring
business continuity, operational efficiency, and system interoperability.
To analyze the application of AI-driven technologies such as predictive analytics, demand
forecasting, computer vision, natural language processing, and real-time supply chain
intelligence in optimizing warehouse operations, inventory management, and retail decision-
making processes.
To evaluate emerging trends including edge computing, autonomous retail systems, intelligent
automation, enterprise security governance, workforce transformation, and performance
measurement frameworks that shape the future of digital enterprise modernization and
sustainable business innovation.
